Located in the Lambayeque province and region. It houses the incredible finds made in Huaca Rajada Sipan.
On November 8, 2002, the museum was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Peru, beginning the stage of its operation at the service of culture, science and tourism in Peru and the world.
The general design of the building is inspired by the truncated pyramids with access by a long ramp, maintaining the sacral scene of the Mochica building.
The museum exhibits ceramics, textiles and more than two thousand pieces of gold and silver belonging to the ornaments and jewels of rank and power of the Mochica ruler, the Lord of Sipan.
